Red Poppies for Art & Soul Studio

Hi everyone, it's challenge time again over at Art and Soul Studio! and this month I have created a quick little poppy painting to play along with the challenge.

I used some of the goodies I picked up at Art & Soul Studio on my recent visit when passing through Hervey Bay...

 If you are every in Hervey Bay I recommend you allow some time and check the store out... so much more in store than currently on the online store...

Here's my haul.... look at those gorgeous paints and inks...

Oh and I tried to take a selfie out the front of the shop... well I don't take selfies very well at all... always have a strained look on my face, lol...

You are Pawesome for Scrap FX

Hi peeps, today I have my latest layout for Scrap FX to share with you all....

"You are Pawesome"

For this layout I have a gorgeous pic of the beautiful Iris... 

She is my friends furbaby, isn't she a fabulous looking dog...

For this layout I grabbed out a previously created gel printed page, the colours were just perfect to set off the photo...

I thought this new title was perfect for this gorgeous photo... I love this title so much...

look at this adorable little paw print in the middle of that title.... way too cute...

I added some flowers and tags and diecuts to accentuate the photo further...

I used five of the hashtag words from the #dogs pack... this is such a fabulous pack, I love it... so versatile.. such cute little #words...

One last look at the total layout and the beautiful Iris...

Cheshire Cat .... for Art and Soul Studio

Hi everyone, it's challenge time again over at Art and Soul Studio! and this month I have created a cheshire cat journal spread to play along with the challenge

I used the challenge mood board as inspiration:

 So I played along with the Wonderland theme, used the colour theme and added my little playing card in the corner of the spread...  

Why not join in the fun there are 3 x $50 vouchers up for grabs!! One will be awarded for scrapbooking layouts, one for cards and one for mixed media/art journaling.

The Moodboard Challenge Rules are easy,  use our mood board as inspiration to create an art journal page, a card or a scrapbooking layout. Use the mood board however you want but you must add a playing card and as these challenges are sponsored by Art and Soul Studio please make sure that you use at least one product that is available from the store. You can enter an art journal page, a card and a layout but you cannot win all three.You have until the 11:59pm on the 31 July to enter and then the design team will vote to determine the lucky winners. Please note that the vouchers can only be won by residents of Australia but if you are from overseas and win the challenge you will be offered a guest design team spot.

Art Junk Journal for Scrap FX....

Hi Scrap FX fans, thanks for joining me here. Today I'm sharing my latest creation... "Art"

This is one of the new Junk Journal Kits.... Chevrons, these are fun little kits containing all sorts of materials making up the pages, including a map page, several laser cut pages, an envelope for the cover, an acetate sheet, and more...

I decorated the cover using the new Art phrase stencil, I only applied the "art" from this stencil on the cover, I used the whole stencil further on on the journal... I also used the Paint Brushes stencil to decorate the cover, along with Grunge Alphabet stamp....

On the inside cover, I used the Number Collage Small stencil...

Here you can see the full Art phrase stencil, along with with the Harlequin stamp and the Script stamp and you can see here one of the laser cut chevron pages from the kit...

this is one of the laser cut shaped pages in the kit... and behind it you can see the map page included in the kit... I stamped the page up using the Script stamp...

Another of the laser cut pages, with a honeycomb cut out.... stamped up with the Script stamp... I used the Learning to Fly silhouette to decorate this page...

On the other side of the page, there is more of the Script stamp and the Number Collage Small stencil...

Here is another of the laser cut shaped pages, this one is like an index folder... on this page I used the laser cut chevron page to stencil the top corner... and the added the Grunge Alphabet stamp...

Beach Journal Page....

Hi everyone, I am excited to be joining you all today for my latest project for Art and Soul Studio. Today I am sharing a Beach Journal page I created using Dylusions Paints... I created it with the latest Mood board challenge happening for Art and Soul Studio...

I went quite literal with this journal page... I love painting beach scenes, so couldn't resist...
and I loved the quote... I only added subtle texture to this piece, but it's there in the paint, the way I layered it and the strokes I created...  Well here's a pic of the full journal page...

Love this Kid..... for Art and Soul Studio

Hi everyone, it's Cindy back with you today to share my latest layout with you "Love this Kid"

This layout is my take on the January/February Soul Sisters Scrapbooking and Cardmaking Challenge....  now this is a challenge worth having a go at... your chance to win a $50 voucher from Art and Soul Studio, seriously who wouldn't want to be in that!!

So here is the Mood Board for the challenge....

So it has my fav colour to work with orange... but I don't usually use it in such a warm combination as this.... and then there's the "sparkle and shine" oh great... glitter, I guess I'll be wearing that for the next week at least...  The Chipboard and Tags, makes me smile... love love love chipboard, so that's easy for me and tags are so versatile, so no stress there... ok... so lets get to it.... here is my process video and if you scroll down after the video I have include a bonus video for you too!!!  Enjoy!
