Hi everyone, today I'd like to share my latest creations for Scrap FX with you all...
First up I have a layout "Extraordinary"
This layout is of a great pic of my hubby while we were out on our bikes one day...
I created this layout on white cardstock and painted it up with tons of layers of DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics, till I was happy with the background...
I used the title #extraordinary from the #surreal theme pack for my title...
I used the steampunk contraption to embellish my layout.... I cut it into two and put it either side of the photo on the layout...
I also used the newly released Geometry Stencil on my background with some modelling paste... it's an awesome stencil, great patterning...
Next up I have another layout to share "Girl Power"...
another layout featuring my gorgeous niece Tilly.... such a strong personality...
for this layout I used the newly released Gorjuss stamps and then painted them up using Twinkling H2O's (Twinks)... love my Twinks... I also did a pale wash around the stamped girls with Twinks...
Hi everyone, I am so excited to be joining you all today for my first post on this fabulous team at Art and Soul Studio.
I will confess that it was a little daunting trying to decide what to create for my very first post... so many wonderful products in the Art and Soul Studio to play with... Under such pressure, I decided to go with one of my all time favourite products... Vivid Ultra Metallic paints... Seriously, these paints are in a class of there own, rich creamy paints with amazing metallic shimmer and shine, and the things you can do with them... and that leads us straight into todays tutorial... Lace Flowers...
Don't they just look seriously amazing... made from the paint, not painted onto a flower, made completely from the paint!...
Now onto a little video I made to show you how you can create these fabulous flowers for yourself...
So I hoped you enjoyed this technique and will consider adding some of this fabulous paint to your stash...
following are some pics of a quick layout I created using the flowers and leaves from the video...
This was two of my gorgeous nieces on Christmas Eve opening their chrissy pressies from auntie Cindy, love these girls... so fabulous watching their faces...
I used a couple of pieces of paper that I had printed on my Gel Press plate, using Kaisercraft paints, to make this layout, kept the design very simple to show off the Vivid embellishments...
Well, thank you all for joining me for my first posting, hope you enjoyed the tutorial, hope you'll give the sensational Vivid Ultra Metallic paints a try...
