Hi everyone, thanks for joining me here today for my third February post for D-lish Scraps. I'd like to share with you some more fun I have had with the Metal Filigrees...
I created a mixed media canvas, using lots of the Metal Filigrees and the Scrap FX Ripples Stencil...
I used Filigree Butterflies, I bent the wings up to achieve a more 3D effect for the canvas...I coloured up the filigree butterflies using ColourArte Silks...
the background texture was created with the Scrap FX Ripples Stencil, and some jump rings along with some metal daisies.... then coloured up using some Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays.... and some Inka Gold for highlights...
The main flower cluster was created by using a Filigree 6 petal flower, along with a couple of Pressed Metal Leaves and Birds nest Charm... and again I coloured these filigree and metal pieces using Silks acrylic glazes...
