Couture Creations

Hi everyone,  today I share with you my final post for Couture Creations,  I chose not to reapply for the next term with the CC team.   I have had a fabulous time sharing my Couture Creations work with you over my term, but I am now super busy with my DT work for Scrap FX and now ColourArte, not to mention the regular classes I am now doing for Kaisercraft ...
Now onto my final layout share...

"This makes my day"

I love this photo of my niece Tilly.... she had been playing under the sprinkler on the lawn, and was dripping wet when I snapped this pic of her... isn't she adorable...

Here is a picture step by step of how I created the layout:
I began by ripping a corner from this paper from the new Sea Breeze collection pack...

then I cut and ripped a second piece...
I distressed and inked up the edges...
I then cut up some more of the pieces from the collection pack for me to create a cluster under my photo... here I am placing them to see if I have an adequate amount...
being happy with the cluster, I distressed and inked all the pieces and then added some gauze for texture and started looking at flower placement...
I added some stickers from the sticker sheet that is included in the collection pack...
I then decided that the flowers needed a little colour, so painted them up with Twinkling H2O's...
Once they were dry I started putting it all together, and added some seed beads as well....
Here's a couple of close ups...

Scrap FX fun...

Hi everyone, thanks for joining me here...
Today I am sharing a couple of my latest projects for Scrap FX...first up a mini artist palette

I had a load of fun playing with the paint palette (large), it comes in two sizes, medium and large...
I used two different stencils on my paint palette to create my background texture.... the Hexagonal Pattern Stencil around the edge of the paint palette and the Words of Wisdom Stencil in the middle...

I also had a ball playing with the paint set.... which includes the two different paint tubes....
and the paint brush, with that great saying on it... "awaken the artist within"
I also added the hashtag title #own your talent.... from the #Achieve pack

I added some gauze and flowers to finish it off....

this gorgeous cutie is the granddaughter of a friend of mine....
for this layout I stamped my background and coloured it with watercolour pencils...

I used the title "Treasure...." which reads treasure those you love...

I used the new Scribble flowers....as part of my flower cluster on the layout...

Adventure Awaits

Hi everyone, today I'd like to share with you my latest creation for  Couture Creations....
"Adventure Awaits"
this is a layout of a selfie I took while snorkelling in Phuket...

Here is a picture step by step...
I began by ripping a paper from the new Sea Breeze range...

Next on a second paper from the Sea Breeze range I stencilled on a fishnet design...

while my stencilling was drying, I fussy cut several pieces...

and began creating clusters...

 and layering up the photo...

once the stencilling was dry I applied some of the netting...

attached the photo cluster and added some art stones...

and did the same with the embellishment cluster...

I grabbed out my Twinkling H2O's and painted up some flowers...

 and the title...

and finally put it all together...

Creativity is Contagious

Hi everyone, thanks for joining me here...
Today I am sharing my latest work for Scrap FX...

"Creativity"

These are a some of pics from my recent retreat.... the theme was pink as we were fundraising for BCNA (Breast Cancer Network Australia)...

I used the new Paint Brushes Stencil to create my background with modelling paste and Twinkling H2O's... love playing with those shimmering watercolours, the shine is amazing...

I painted the Paintbrush Flourish with Twinkling H2O's .... isn't this a fabulous chippie, I love it...

don't you just love this title: Creativity is Contagious I think it's totally fabulous... and so appropriate for my pics on this layout... again I painted it up using the Twinkling H2O's...

I used the new Script Stamp and stamped it randomly on the lower half of my background using archival ink.... I must say this reverse stamp is one of new fav's....

Here's one last pic of the whole layout...

Family

Hi everyone, today I'd like to share with you my latest creation for  Couture Creations....
"Family"
I love this pic of my niece sitting on Uncle Bill's knee.... such intense looks as they were discussing the icy pole she was enjoying...

for this layout I began by stencilling some pink modelling paste onto white cardstock...

Next I die cut some white cardstock....

I chose to cut up one of the Damask frame die cuts...

I also chose to use some of the packaging for my photo backing... the Magnolia lane packaging is so pretty...

I ran another piece of white cardstock through the Typography embossing folder and then added some Twinkling H2O's for colour...

I coloured up some of the Couture Creations bulk white flowers, with Twinkling H2O's...
and then I put it all together.... a couple of close ups...
I adhered the corners from the die cut to the bottom of the page...

I layered up the embossed piece, the packaging, and diecuts under the photo with some gauze...

I added a title the flowers and some 2mm gems and gemstones...

another close up...

and finally one last look at the whole layout...
