I love creating mixed media canvas' like this...

I used some of the Bronze Metal Daisies to decorate this canvas...  I painted them up with some Silks acrylic glaze...

I placed a flair button onto a metal filigree doily(which I again painted with Silks)...

I used the Scrap FX words of wisdom stencil for even more texture... I really love this stencil...
and finally, I used some coloured wire and mini heart sequins...

Well I guess that's it from me... thank you Amanda for having me on such a wonderful team, I have loved my time with D-lish...

Furbaby

Hi everyone, today I am excited to share my latest layout for Couture Creations
"Furbaby"

A layout of my gorgeous furbaby Kanishka.... For this layout I concentrated on creating my own textured background with the help of my current Couture Creation dies...

To create this layout I began by creating a stencil from a magazine cover and the Chevron Bloom... I cut five Chevron Blooms from the one cover...

I used chipboard as the base and applied modelling paste through my stencil....

I used the heat tool to dry and bubble the modelling paste ....

next I painted it with gesso...
I sprayed it to add a base of colour...and dried it with the heat tool...

I continued to spray colour and use Gelatos to completely colour my page...

I die cut the rectangle from The Blandford die set from the Vintage Rose paper, Time...

I inked up the edges of the die cut before putting the page together...

I cut my photo to fit the die cut, and then I added some gauze under my photo and my title...

One last close up pic to show all the texture...

Favourite Memories

Hi everyone, thanks for joining me here today...

Just wanting to share my latest work for Scrap FX...
a layout that I created "Favourite Memories"

this is one of my favourite pics of my mum and myself we had such fabulous fun getting these pics taken... a wonderful day, so many laughs...

To create this layout I used the Circular Shawl Stencil with gold embossing paste to create the texture on the base layer...

I used the Words of Wisdom stencil with some modelling paste, because there is no such thing as too much texture... then I gave it some colour using a Prima colour bloom spray...

Finally, I used the new title Favourite Memories, which is so appropriate for this layout... I applied some of the gold embossing paste to it to give it colour and texture...

I really love how this one turned out... I'm getting a frame for it so it can take pride of place on the wall of my studio so I can see it everyday....

Puppy Love

Hi everyone, thanks for joining me here today...
Today I like to share with you my latest work for Scrap FX....
"Puppy Love"

I love this pic of my furbaby Kanishka, when he was only just over two months old,  just after he came home, he was so super cute, wasn't he...

I started off using the Family Faces Stamp with several different green inks to create the base layer of my background

I used the new Chevron Border Stamp, this is another one to add to the fav pile...

for texture I used the new Circle Star Stencil... with modelling paste and then added some gesso...

I used the new Letter & Number Ring Stamps on the corrugated card...

Another fabulous new release this month is the Filmstrips Transparency an A4 transparency with 8 printed filmstrips on it... I believe I will be using these a lot... a filmstrip goes with everything...
I finished the layout off with the "puppy love" wordless...

Just Be

Hi everyone, thanks for joining me here today...

Just wanting to share my latest work for Scrap FX...
I'd like to share a layout that I created using some of these fabulous new releases..."Just Be"

there were some great new releases this month, and I had fun creating this layout using some of them, along with creating in my favourite colour...

first up I started playing with the new family faces stamp ..... I must admit when I first saw this stamp  I thought it was cute, but also thought there was no way I would use it much if at all.... well surprise surprise, once I started playing with it... I love it, from now on it will be right up there with my other favourite background stamps... check out how cool it looks...

next up I started with the letter and number ring stamps, these are two separate stamps in the one set... and these I fell in love with immediately... I knew I would love using them and of course they don't disappoint... they stamp beautifully... I feel they will be a regular occurrence in my creations from now on...
Once I had finished playing with the stamps, I used the new Fireworks stencil.... this stencil is extremely versatile, it can be used as a whole, or just for the firework swirl or just for large dots... so many choices...

Finally I finished off the layout with some chipboard pieces... I used the "just be" feather title, and the soundwave from the headphones and sound wave pack...

Sweet Memories

Hi everyone, today I'd like to share with you my first blog post for the month for Couture Creations...."Sweet Memories"

A layout of my gorgeous hubby and myself having fun at a medieval theme wedding we attended at Kryal Castle...

To create this layout I began with the sweet accent fancy rectangle dies and cut 2 each size from core'dinations Teal Dots printed cardstock

I used a finger dauber to apply some distress ink to the edges of each piece and to the edge of the page...

I used an old cover of a magazine to cut my stencil using the Background Saavy Honeypot die(as I have mentioned preciously, the glossy coating of the magazine cover makes a great stencil that can be wiped down and reused)....

I used the stencil to apply some Glitzen Glamour to my background page, Core'dinations Teal Stripe printed cardstock...

I layered up the die cut fancy rectangles using foam tape to add dimension between the layers, and a little gauze for texture....

I sprayed up a few flowers to match the Core'dinations Teal cardstock...

One last pic of the completed layout, all put together...
