Li'l Rascal and happiness for Scrap FX

Hi everyone, thanks for joining me here,
today I want to share with you my latest projects for Scrap FX
'Li'l Rascal' and 'happiness'

First up Li'l Rascal...
I love this pic of my friends son... just way too cute...
I used lots of different chipboard on this layout... the Chicken Wire here was painted with black gesso...
I used the Grunge Stencil with some black modelling paste... more of the Chicken Wire and I die cut some cogs from the 12x12 chipboard sheet, can you believe I didn't have any Scrap FX cogs at the time! so this was the next best option...
I chose the Li'l Rascal mini for my title and painted it up silver using the Vivid Ultra-Metallics True Silver.... the photo doesn't do it justice at all, but the silver is so shiny that it's impossible to photograph well....
I used one of the Sketchy Stars (comes in a pack of 3 different sizes) and painted it up with Vivid Ultra-Metallics Red Poinsettia... you know these paints are amazing and the shine can't be beaten, I love them as much as I love my Scrap FX chipboard and you all know how much I love that... they are the perfect accompaniment for Scrap FX chipboard...
The little skull was an embellishment I had in my stash...
I also added the #coolstuff from the #girlstuff pack... again painted up with the True Silver...

Next up I have another layout to share, 'happiness'
this layout features my neice Tilly.... she is a real water baby... look closely at the first pic and see how she has her toe blocking the sprinkler until she wants to let the water flow... she had me giggling all afternoon with her antics... such a little cutie...
for this layout I used the Scribble Daisy Stamp...
I stamped the daisies and then fussy cut them before giving them a glitter centre (which did not photograph as sparkly and pretty as it looks)
I used the Script Stamp to randomly stamp the background with shades of pinks...
I chose the happiness midi for my title... it seemed the best fit, for how happy water made Tilly on this warm day...
I also couldn't resist using the #goodfun from the #boystuff pack...
Finally I framed up the layout using the large Scribble Heart...

Tiger love for Scrap FX

Hi everyone, thanks for joining me here,
today I want to share with you my latest project for Scrap FX, 'Tiger Love'

Today I am sharing another photo from my Phuket trip last year.... this one was taken of a white tiger I saw at the Phuket Fantesea show.

Now onto how I put it all together....
I used the Puddles Stencil with a gold mica flake gel from Golden, to create my sparkle texture on the                      background.

To add further texture and interest to my background, I added some stamping using the Moroccan Tile Stamp and the Scribble Circle Stamp with archival ink.

I used one of the 2015's from the 2015 Year Pack and the mini Phuket I asked Jill to make for me sometime back.... I painted both pieces with some Twinkling H2O's to match my photo and background...

As a part of my title I used the "Tiger" chippie from the Zoo Theme Pack, and painted it up with some more Twinkling H2O's....  I also added some medium chicken wire again painted up with Twinkling H2O's...

I finished the layout off with the Love Scribble Frame again painted up with Twinkling H2O's...

Absolutely Fabulous ... for Scrap FX

Hi everyone, thanks for joining me here,
today I want to share with you my latest project for Scrap FX

I had so much fun creating this layout.... loads of arty play with alcohol inks on gesso... so much fun...

I cut the Dot Dot Dash chipboard into two pieces and embossed them...
Don't they look fabulous .... really great versatile chippie piece...

for my background texture, I used one of my many favourites the Circle Weave Stencil.... totally love the texture and pattern this stencil provides...

for my name plate I use a banner from the Banner A pack... this pack contains 4 different shaped banners, a great item to have handy in your stash...

And finally my title... Absolutely Fabulous ... all glammed up with some rich aged gold embossing powder, doesn't it look fabulous!!

Here's the list of Scrap FX products used for this project:

Hope you enjoyed seeing this one as much as I enjoyed creating it...

Girls Just... & 50... for Scrap FX

Hi everyone, thanks for joining me here,
today I want to share with you my latest projects for Scrap FX.

First up I have a quick layout .... Girls Just wanna have Fun...

this is a snapshot from a recent retreat ... we really did have some fun!!

I painted up the title with some Vivid Ultra Metallics and chose to wrap some wire around some of the letters for a little added effect...

Next up I have a canvas I made for a friend of mine who has just turned the big "50"...
she loves purple and sugar skulls...

I used the Sugar Skulls mini and painted them up...

to create their hair effect, I used the Daisy Flower Stencil, with some gel medium coloured with ColourArte's Primary Elements Arte Pigments...

For the 50 I used the 50th mini and removed the 'th'
I thought that the "absolutely fabulous" summed up my girl friend perfectly!!
I painted these all up with the True Silver, Vivid Ultra Metallics paint...

Cherish and Fifty for Scrap FX

Hi everyone, today I am sharing a couple of creations for Scrap FX... First up I have
this is a pic of my friends granddaughter isn't she just gorgeous...

I chose the title "cherish" for this layout... I love these Scrap FX midi titles ... they are just he perfect size for so many layouts...

I also included the silhouette ornate clock, I love the silhouettes from Scrap FX, you can find more here...

for my background I used the Petal Pattern stencil along with some crackle paste for extra effect...

Next up I have "a "Fifty" milestone card...
I created this card for a girlfriend who just celebrated her 50th birthday... Purple is so not my colour of choice, but this was all about her...

I chose to back the 'fifty' with black cardstock to help it jump off the back of the card...and I kept the inside simple so that I had plenty of room to write my birthday message...
I used the new Cool Circles stencil on the back of the card.... this is an awesome new stencil and with so many different patterns it makes it a very versatile stencil..
