Kanishka and Wanderlust.... for Scrap FX

Hi everyone, today I'd like to share my latest creations for Scrap FX with you all...
First up I have a layout "Kanishka"

I love this photo of Kanishka when he was only 3 weeks old... it already shows his cheeky attitude, look at him sticking his tongue out...

I used the new Beaded Strings on either side of my photo...  love these for all types of layouts...

I also added the Love Paw from the Love Paw and Heart Set...

For my title I used the Paris Alphabet Upper Case and Paris Alphabet Lower Case...

I used the Doodled Star Stamp in the background , such a pretty stamp....

As a finishing touch I added the #furbaby from the #pets set...

Next up I have another layout.... Wanderlust
This is a pic of Bill and I at the Grand Canyon... just before we went on the skywalk...

I used the Mercator Flourish at the edge of my photo...

I used the Felicity Stencil on the background...

along with the Figure of a Man Stencil...

I added the Mistletoe chipboard for extra detail...

I used the Harlequin stamp on my background...

along with the Circles and Lines Stamp...

I finished off the layout with the Wanderlust Arrow, for my title...

Creative Paperclay® tip for November

Hi Creative Paperclay® fans, it's Cindy here, I am excited to share with you my tip for November... How to create a Sea Turtle Armature ready for sculpting with Creative Paperclay®..

Creating an armature prior to sculpting with Creative Paperclay® saves you drying time with your clay as it is not as dense... and of course it saves you clay itself, as you are only having to cover over the armature not use a whole lump of clay...

Supplies:
Aluminium Foil
tape

Hope you enjoyed this video and found it helpful...

Wishes do come True.....

Hi everyone, today I'd like to share my latest layout for Scrap FX using their latest releases...

This is a gorgeous pic of my girlfriends gorgeous grand baby... I've used a couple of printed papers I created on my Gel Press plate to create the base of my layout...

I have added the new title "wishes Do Come True" love this title, I see so many uses for it....

I also used the Crescent Frame, this is such a gorgeous frame, I saw Michelle Logan use it on a journal page she created and immediately fell in love with it, I couldn't wait to create with it...

I used the new Buttons B Script stamps, and stamped them onto some white cardstock before using my circle punches to punch them out...

I added the butterfly (Flutterby S Lacy) painted up with True Silver Vivid Ultra Metallic...

and finally I added a second smaller butterfly(Flutterby G Classic) also painted up with the True Silver, to my title cluster on the layout...

Here's the list of Scrap FX products used:

Other supplies used:

Making Butter Slime with Delight Air Dry Modeling Compound

Hi Creative Paperclay® fans, it's Cindy here, I am excited to share with you my tip for September... Did you know that you can use Delight Air Dry Modeling Compound to make Butter Slime...  What is Butter Slime I hear you ask... well it's the latest craze sweeping through the pre-teens  and young teens age bracket... I couldn't really see what all the fuss was about, but I will confess once I had made some it is quite satisfying to just squish and stretch, quite good for the stress levels I think... lol.
Supplies:
Clear Glue: I used slime glue (available here in Australia) but Elmers Clear Glue is also great
Bowl
Slime Activator: either 1 cup warm water with 1 teaspoon of Borax(Bi-Carb Soda) or Contact Lens Solution

Now onto a little video on how to make the Slime.... enjoy

thank you for stopping by and joining me here today,  I hope you or your kids/grandkids, nieces or nephews will have fun trying out this Slime recipe...
