Let your spirit Soar

Hi everyone, thanks for joining me here today... I'd like to share with you the latest canvas have I created, playing along with the Lindy's December colour palate....
"Let your spirit SOAR"

So here is the colour palate ....
you can find the challenge here on the Lindy's Stamp Gang blog...

so now onto my canvas....
I created the canvas around one of my favourite pics of Cleopatra... her spirit does truly soar...  I used four out of the five colours from the December limited edition spray set... and I also used four out of the five colours from the December limited edition embossing set...

I used the Midnight Teal, and Desert Moon Turquoise embossing powders on the Scrap FX
I created the background texture using modelling paste and the Scrap FX stencils, Moroccan Tile and Circle Weave....  I then sprayed the background with Opal Sea Oats, T-bird Turquoise, Azure Sea Asters and a small amount of Tibetan Poppy Teal... to finish off I randomly stamped over the canvas with archival ink...

the Prima resin parrot was sprayed with T-bird Turquoise and then rubbed with archival ink...

Midnight Teal embossing powder on the "soar" title...  while it was heated I ran a metal skewer through the embossing powder to show the dual colours of the powder...

on the rest of the title I used both Desert Moon Turquoise and Morning Glory Azure... and again while heating it, ran a skewer through it to show the dual colours...

I used Starbright Gold Green over the Opal Sea Oats spray on the modelling paste and I did the same with the Desert Moon Turquoise over the T-bird Turquoise and Morning Glory Azure over the Azure Sea Asters, to give extra shine to my background...

One final pic of the whole canvas...
